Who we are?

Team ULiège is a community of students, lecturers, university staff and alumni who come together to take part in various sporting challenges and events. Our aim is to promote sport (in line with all the activities offered by ULiège Sports) and conviviality within the university community.

Team ULiège 's mission is to promote sport and team spirit within our University. For several years now, we've been taking part in the 15km Liège Métropole and other races and challenges. These are great opportunities to get together! Professors, students, alumni and staff run together in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Team ULiège isn't just about running! We also take part in events such as the 24-hour Télévie bike race, and we're keen to branch out into other sports.

• This is a unique opportunity to get in some good-natured exercise while wearing your university's colors: a running t-shirt will be offered to all TeamULiège members.

• (During the Liège 15km) To take part in the 2025 inter-faculty battle and measure up to other faculties in a spirit of healthy competition.

In 2024 for the 15km Liège Métropole:

• 616 women and 516 men
• 331 more runners than last record
• a total of 13,923 km covered, the distance between Belgium and ... the Marquesas Islands!  
• 596 runners for the 15km
• 397 runners for the 7km
• 72 participants for the 21km Trail / 9 for the 42km Trail
• 30 runners for the 3km
• 28 participants for the 8km walk

But also:

• 66 runners at La Liégeoise
• 26 teams at the 24h Vélo Télévie Challenge

Key events

15km de Liège Métropole

The 16^th edition of the 15km Liège Métropole will take place on Sunday April 13, 2025.

Once again this year, ULiège is a partner of this event organized by the Zapopek asbl. 6 different routes are proposed: from the 7km to the 42km Trail! There's something to suit all fitness levels and tastes.

This event, which attracted over 10,000 people in 2024, including 1,132 ULiège runners, takes place in a magnificent setting that showcases the finest assets of the Liège metropolis.

24H Vélo Télévie

An event where fun, solidarity and team spirit take center stage. The 10^th edition will take place from Thursday March 20 to Friday March 21, 2025.

Every year, this challenge of the heart helps support Operation Télévie and cancer research: in 2024, €277,205 was donated thanks to your generosity and that of your sponsors, and the investment of many participants.
